Uniform Protocols

Establishing Consistency in Evidence Based Research

Currently,  treatments for many dermatological conditions are being developed using diverse protocols.  This makes comparative assessments difficult if not impossible to accomplish    Thus,  the idea is being proposed to establish for each disorder  modular uniform protocols.  Each will have a core protocol with basic inclusion/exclusion criteria,  required efficacy assessments,  required safety assessments.   In addition, for each variant of treatment (e.g.,  topical,  systemic,  immunological, biological, etc) a modular component to the core specific to that area will be developed.
